Elvis would've been 75 years old today and I have always loved his music. There are so many songs I love of his, so its hard to choose just one song. His gospel music is some of my favorite and I guess American Trilogy is a favorite.
I was born and raised about 3 hours north of Memphis, so Elvis was just the guy down the road, but still a celebrity. I do remember the day I heard on the news about Elvis' death. We all sat in front of the tv for hours to watch the news coming out of Memphis.
I have been to Graceland and what a great tour that was and I'm glad that I was able to experience it. I know there will be thousands making their yearly trip to pay their respects. I have also been to Tupelo and saw his tiny little home.

Here is a video of his last concert before his death. I had tickets to see him 2 weeks after his death. I didn't care what he looked like, he was Elvis and to this day, he will always be the King of Rock and Roll.
I have my DVR ready to record a few things for me to watch tonight about Elvis. Can't wait
