Travel Insurance

Do you travel a lot? My husband travel a lot and some of the highways that we travel just make me a nervous wreck! If you have ever traveled on a 6 lane wide highway, you know what I mean.

I have thought many times about travel insurance. I have a friend who recently purchased travel insurance for her cruise and good thing she did, because an emergency caused them to leave the ship and the insurance paid her expenses back to the US and for more of her cost of the trip. She was so glad that she paid that extra expense for the comfort of knowing she had help when not being near home.

I have also found out, that if you travel abroad, your HMO or PPO medical insurance won't cover all your medical expenses. That is a very scary thought. Being in another country and can't pay your medical bills.
