Life 365 Project - March 8-14

My next layout for the week of March 8-14 and what a week it was. Play practice started for my part in the play. I am the stage manager and I love that job. You actually only see me at the very beginning of the play and a couple times between scenes. But, I'm there, lurking in the back, wear all black (makes me look slim) and can basically run the show when the play starts! What more could I ask for.

Oh and by the way, its still cold here. Its getting warmer, but not in the 70's like it should be.

I remember when my son was in high school and the terrible acne he had. We were going to the dermatologist a lot, taking tons of pills and ended up on a treatment with side effects I wasn't too thrilled about. My Skin Care

My #1 secret to keeping wrinkles away is not to let my face in the sun. I have been wearing a hat in the sun since my 20's and I think it shows now that I am 50ish. This is a hard task here in Florida, but sunscreen helps a lot. I also use Retin A and I think that keeps all the dead skin off of my face and I use a loofah pad a lot to keep my skin smooth. I also use a lot of moisturizer, especially when the weather gets really dry.

I am always looking for a better product that will work on my face to keep it clean and smooth for my age. I know wrinkles are right around the corner, but I'm just not ready to turn that corner yet. So, I will look at skin care product reviews and decide for myself what is the best for my skin care.

A Happy Move

Have you ever moved? What was most memorable about it? If you never have what do you think would make it memorable?

I've moved many times with my dad being in the military and then in my recent years moving from Missouri to Georgia and then to Florida. And I have some horror stories to share, but I think I will share a good story this time.

One of the moves I remember is when we moved back to the states in 1965 when I was in the 3rd grade from Hawaii to Missouri. It was a 4 hour flight from Honolulu to California and since my brother was small and I was older, I got to sit in an area all by myself. But, my neighbor was a sailor in uniform. He was so nice to me and gave me candy and helped with my food tray. I think that day was the first time I fell in love with an older man! And I also knew at that very moment that I would marry a man in uniform. Well, that came true when I married my husband the fireman. I just love a happy ending.

Those Darn Age Spots

It seems like I am constantly complaining about what "Turning 50" has been doing to my body. I take care of myself and I really don't like what age is doing to my skin. I use sunscreen and living in Florida means that I must wear a hat all the time out doors.

As I sit here and type and look down at my hands I am upset to see all the age spots starting to show up. I will keep telling people the ones on my face are freckles. So, I have been doing some research on finding age spots removal products. So many items out there today and I do know this will be a long process. I love going on a vacation and I have never been to Canada before and I would love to see and visit with our neighbors to the north. Looking For Help with Sleeping

I have never been someone who has had a problem with sleeping. Yea, it might take me more than 5 minutes to fall asleep, I still sleep very soundly and feel great when I wake up.
